MCIS Trainer

HOW A MCIS TRAINER WILL MAKE AN IMPACT:

  • Plans, coordinates, and executes individual Mission Command Information Systems training
  • Assists unit leadership in planning individual training that will meet training objectives; identifies any gaps and works with the management team to ensure they are filled prior to execution of training
  • Update Programs of Instruction
  • Maintains a comprehensive repository of relevant TTPs
  • Provide work leadership for lower level employees, including evaluating the effectiveness of their training presentations and programs
  • Provides guidance and work leadership to less experienced instructors
  • Participates in special projects as required

WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED:

  • Education: BS/BA or the equivalent combination of education, technical certifications or training
  • Required Experience: 5+ years of related experience; military experience preferred; MTC experience preferred
  • Required Technical Skills: Comprehensive knowledge of all Command and Control Information Systems i.e CPCE, JBC-P, JCR, AFATDS, TAIS, AMDWS etc and their functional operations; basic understanding of server management; basic understanding of network configuration
  • Security Clearance Level: SECRET clearance
  • Required Skills and Abilities: Superb presentation and communication skills; Advanced knowledge of the principles, methods, and techniques used in the delivery of training programs; Advanced knowledge of relevant technology or subject matter; ability to diagnose and resolve software and hardware issues; Customer service focused
  • Location: On Customer Site / some travel required to other customer sites in the AoR

Salary and Benefit Information

The likely salary range for this position is $63,750 - $86,250. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range. Total compensation for international positions varies by tax, social security, and immigration statuses, as well as location. Generally, an international assignment may include allowances, premium uplifts, and/or relocation or transportation benefits, above base salary range noted.
