The Field Technician will maintain the equipment and machinery for the USCIS project.
US Citizenship required. No Telecommuting allowed, and must be local to the office. This schedule is second shift Monday -Friday (3:00 pm - Midnight) EST.
The Field Technician will work with the onsite team to support any mechanical or electrical needs.
HOW A FIELD TECHNICIAN WILL MAKE AN IMPACT
● Fabricates, installs, maintains, and repairs electronic, mechanical, and/or other types of components and equipment.
● Research, evaluate, and develop solutions to problems.
● Performs maintenance of different types of equipment and infrastructure.
● Supports multiple motion control systems, automated inspection systems, automated mailing systems, Class IV lasers, and other production equipment.
●Collaborates with other onsite Engineers to install new equipment or implement modifications requested by the customer/client.
● Test equipment and systems to evaluate whether they meet compliance standards.
●Report findings and provide solutions for any issues that may halt progression.
● Conducts thorough follow-up assessments and checkups of equipment and make recommendations where applicable.
● Assists with all preventative maintenance and maintain any required documentation.
WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED:
● Education: Associate degree (Electrical\mechanical experience can be used to substitute education requirement.)
● Required Experience: 2+ years of related experience
● Required Technical Skills: Intermediate computer skills and familiarity with using MS Office.
● Must be able to obtain a public trust security clearance
● Required Skills and Abilities: Team work, good communication skills, problem solving.
● Preferred Skills: Knowledge of most mechanical\electrical concepts, terms and tools.

The likely salary range for this position is $56,680 - $63,250. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
