Our work depends on a Top Secret Cleared, Unified Communications Engineer joining our team to provide state-of-the-art Information Technology (IT) engineering and management leadership to enable the Federal Bureau of Investigation ( FBI ) to increase mission success and enhance mission capabilities in the critical areas of national security, law enforcement, intelligence, counterintelligence, and counterterrorism.

HOW A UNIFIED COMMUNICATIONS ENGINEER WILL MAKE AN IMPACT:

  • Manages and troubleshoots Avaya and MSTP (Managed Secure Telephony Platform) systems.
  • Oversees all engineering activities related to MSTP configuration and ensuring proper endpoint connectivity.
  • Resolving technical issues within systems, troubleshooting performance problems, and ensuring operations efficiently.
  • Ensures that Avaya and MSTP solutions are configured and optimized to meet business needs.
  • Maintaining and supporting EVoIP (Enterprise Voice over IP) systems, ensuring they are functioning at peak performance.
  •  Provides essential back-end engineering support for troubleshooting MSTP and resolving T4 tickets related to telephony issues, ensuring timely and effective solutions.
  • Provides business process modeling and reengineering support
  • Provides secure reach-back supports
  • Ensures that technical strategies align with business needs

WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED:
 

EDUCATION: Bachelor of Science in engineering, computer science, or other equivalent technical discipline (may substitute with commensurate work experience).

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE: 5+ years of related experience
 

REQUIRED TECHINICAL SKILLS: Experience in Avaya, Managed Secure Telephony Platform (MSTP), Cisco, Microsoft TAC, Power Bi, SAFe

CLEARANCE: Top Secret

LOCATION: Washington, DC

Salary and Benefit Information

The likely salary range for this position is $102,000 - $138,000. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
