Job Description

Systems Engineer

    Job Description
    • Contributes to completion of milestones associated with specific engineering projects
    • Develops solutions to a variety of engineering problems of moderate scope and complexity
    • Perform systems design, development, and integration from the start of a systems life cycle to the end
    • Oversees moderately complex infrastructure including installing, configuring, testing, and maintaining operating systems, application software, and system management tools
    • Performs systems modeling, simulation, and analysis
    • Performs continual maintenance of security, including backup and redundancy strategies
    • Prepares and maintains documentation for processes and procedures related to engineering projects
    • Maintains current knowledge of rapidly changing technology

    Education and Experience

    • Active TS/SCI and CI polygraph
    • Must possess the required DoD Directive 8570 IAT Level II or higher certification(Security+CE preferred)
    • EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: BA/BS or equivalent, 2+ years of experience
    • Engineer/support mobility solutions used by various business areas
    • Develop test plans and support documentation to enable quality deployment of business mobility solutions
    • Provide 3rd level technical support for business mobility solutions (iPhone, tablet)
    • Gather requirements for business mobility solutions or technologies to facilitate deployment of new and/or improve maintenance of existing solutions

    Salary and Benefit Information

    The likely salary range for this position is $102,000 - $138,000. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
