HOW A SOFTWARE DEVELOPER ADVISOR WILL MAKE AN IMPACT
● Researches, designs, develops, and/or modifies enterprise-wide systems and/or applications software
● Works with a diverse, agile, distributed development team to achieve the common goal of modernizing the AWIS system to support Naval squadrons and other users/stakeholders.
● Works remotely utilizing the Government's systems for collaboration, development, testing, uploading, storing, and deploying solutions.
● Participates in the modernization of the AWIS solution that will greatly improve Naval squadron weapons management and reporting.
● Will act as a senior developer in a Key role supporting the Govt customer, and be available to mentor fellow GDIT developers.
WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED:
● Education: Bechelors Degree, preferrably in a STEM field
● Required Experience: 7+ years of related experience
● Required Technical Skills: .NET, .NET Core/MVC, SQL Server, Visual Basic, Visual Studio, GitHub, Agile/SCRUM
● Security Clearance Level: Minimum SECRET
● Required Skills and Abilities: Communication, use-case/problem statement interpretation
● Preferred Skills: Time Management, Conflict Resolution
● Location: Remote

The likely salary range for this position is $116,979 - $155,250. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
