Job Description

Own your career as a Cyber Security Analyst at GDIT. Here at GDIT you will be a Cyber Security Analyst attached to an adaptive red team focused on adversary attack surface enumeration and exploitation targeting current, new and emerging Department of Defense technologies.

HOW A CYBER SECURITY ANALYST WILL MAKE AN IMPACT:

  • Evaluate and test hardware, firmware, and software for possible impact on system security, to determine system risk and exposure to adversarial attacks.
  • Develop procedures and capabilities for conducting cybersecurity risk assessments using adversarial techniques, incorporating offensive cyber and advanced post-exploitation skills.
  • Experience planning, conducting, reporting on Offensive Cyber Operations (OCO) and Cyber Red Team engagements.
  • Real world experience employing a variety of cyber tools from vulnerability scanners, to exploitation frameworks and commercial, government or open-source Cyber/hacker/adversary tools.
  • Interpret, analyze, and report security vulnerabilities and anomalies identified during assessments incorporating in comprehensive technical reports.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED:

  • Required Technical Skills: Offensive Cyber Operations, Red Team Engagements, Penetration Testing, Initial Access, Post-Exploitation Activities and Data Exfiltration
  • Applicant must be willing to work in group settings and alone.
  • Travel to operational venues will be required >25%. Work will take place in a classified environment, requiring schedule flexibility.
  • Preferred skillsets: AI/ML, SCADA, programming (C, C++, Golang, Rust), scripting (bash, Python, ruby), penetration testing, reverse engineering, exploit development, forensics
  • Location: Onsite
  • Security Clearance: Secret (Top Secret SCI Eligible)
  • Education: Bachelor's Degree preferred and/or technical training will be recognized
  • Required Experience: 3+ years of related professional experience
  • Certification: PenTest+, GIAC series, OSCP, Sec+ or similar preferred

Salary and Benefit Information

The likely salary range for this position is $106,250 - $143,750. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
