Job Description

​​Intelligence Lead

XVIII ABC Hub and Spoke MTCs provide individual and collective training on Army Mission Command Systems, using a variety of tools and Army fielded systems. These systems are used to support Small Unit Training: Squads through Company, Medium Unit Training: Battalion through Brigade, and Large Unit Training: Divisions and Corps in training environments ranging from Stability and Support Operations (SSO) through Unified Land Operations (ULO).

HOW THE INTELLIGENCE LEAD WILL MAKE AN IMPACT: 

  • Provides analytical subject matter expertise (SME) on the different types of intelligence in support of Mission Command training.
  • Preparing intelligence reports and assessments, builds briefing materials for the supported military intelligence training audience or assist with construction Order of Battle training materials.
  • Maintains working knowledge of various intelligence collection assets for US, friendly, non-hostile and enemy countries, knowing how they collect information and how these systems could be used to collect intelligence information.
  • Maintains current knowledge of relevant technologies and subject areas.  

WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED: 

  • Education: BS/BA 
  • Experience: 5-8 years of relevant experience
  • Technical Experience:
    • DCGS-A, AIDP, JLCCTC, WIM, IEWTPT, JCDS
    • The individual performing this requirement shall have experience within the Intelligence Warfighting Functional Area with background in one or more of the Intel systems associated with the IEWTPT system.  
    • TSS operators shall have experience within the Intelligence Warfighting Functional Area and have actively worked within the Intelligence Community (IC) in one of these occupational specialties: IMINT, SIGINT, GEOINT, HUMINT or All-Source Intelligence (preferred) with background in one or more of the Intel systems associated with the IEWTPT system: the Tactical (or Common) Ground Station, the Distributed Common Ground System-Army (DCGS-A){“family of systems”], Prophet, GuardRail Common Sensor (GRCS) or the Tactical Exploitation System (TES).  
    • Contractors shall have a good working knowledge of all aspects of Military Intelligence functions/operations, ISR mission requirements, training, and planning, along with a knowledgeable understanding of connectivity and capabilities of all Military Intelligence Systems to include how, what they can, or will provide to the overall Intelligence illustration for the TUC to engage the battles. 
    • Performs basic operator functions on the following systems and how they are integrated into the intelligence collection cycle. Maintain current knowledge of supporting information systems in accordance with user specified technical architectures, within reconfigurable battalion and brigade tactical operation center training environments, to support the conduct of digital battle command staff training and exercises.
    • Position requires a sufficient level of knowledge to be able to draw inferences about the possible consequences of the intelligence situation, as well as sufficient awareness of the situation to predict future patterns, Tactics, Techniques and Procedures (TTPs), and potential changes to current TTPs. 
    • Experience instructing intelligence professionals on tradecraft and other issues. Develops and/or refines courseware and curricula to meet customer training needs, establishing course content and objectives.  
    • Knowledge of the principles, methods, processes, and applicable regulations relevant to the subject discipline. 
  • Knowledge Skills and Abilities: Experience in classroom instruction and courseware development.  Specific certifications or military education/training may be required, depending on job assignment.  Candidate must have or be able to obtain a certificate or certification meeting evolving computing environment requirements. 
  • Security Clearance: Secret to start, must be able to obtain a TS/SCI
  • Location: Fort Liberty, NC, Mission Training Complex (MTC)

Salary and Benefit Information

The likely salary range for this position is $68,000 - $92,000. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
