Job Description

GDIT is seeking a Test Engineer Senior to join our team. You will work in Baltimore as a member of the Independent Verification & Validation (IV&V) Testing Team. You will conduct software validation (acceptance testing) for the Office of Child Support Enforcement expanded Federal Parent Locator Service for all lines of business.

Responsibilities:

  • Review the changes mentioned in the change request

  • Prepare test data, test plan and test cases

  • Execute the testing

  • Report the test results

  • Assist with Subject-7 automation

Required Skills:

  • Strong hands-on experience creating and executing JCL in Z/OS mainframe environment
  • Strong knowledge of IBM Utilities and TSO/ISPF is required
  • Experience with various mainframe file and data manipulation tools such as Syncsort, Fileaid for VSAM, DB2 and SPUFI
  • Experience testing at least one relational database such as DB2, Oracle, Postgres, or SQL Server is required.
  • Experience with various forms of Testing such as System, Acceptance, and Regression is required
  • Experience with testing of web applications
  • Experience with Industry Standard Testing Methodologies and Process

Salary and Benefit Information

The likely salary range for this position is $102,000 - $138,000. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
