Project Manager – TS/SCI

At GDIT, we foster a people-focused and customer-centric environment in delivering Project Management Services.  As a Project/Task Manager supporting the Government, you will be trusted with management, direction, administration, quality control, and leadership of the execution of projects/tasks of the ISEE task order.

In this role, a typical day may include:

  • Managing the project stakeholders, project team, project risk, project schedule, project budget, and project conflicts
  • Planning, executing, managing, and closing projects that meet or exceed customer objectives in assigned projects
  • Conducting plans and providing recommendations to the client on task workloads
  • Ensuring team members understand and execute their respective roles and the roles of the other team members
  • Coordinating resolution of production-related problems/roadblocks
  • Measuring project performance using appropriate tools and techniques
  • Coordinating development of deliverables and services
  • Ensuring proper relationships are established between customers, teaming partners, and vendors to facilitate the delivery of engineering services
  • Ensuring production schedules are met and system resources are used effectively

WHAT YOU’LL NEED:

  • Active TS/SCI clearance and ability to obtain and maintain a CI poly.
  • Must meet DoD 8570 IAT Level II requirements including one of the following:  Security+ CE, CND, SSCP, GSEC, GICSP, CySA+, or CCNA Security.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in a related technical discipline, or the equivalent combination of education, technical certification or training, or work/military experience
  • 10+ years of relevant experience managing projects through project life cycle
  • Solid leadership, coaching, and mentorship skills
  • Solid organization skills and multitasking skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills

Preferred

  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
  • Experience with Microsoft Project

Salary and Benefit Information

The likely salary range for this position is $119,000 - $161,000. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
