Job Description
Apply your expertise to advance the mission and optimize our business strategy as a Senior Administrator Assistant at GDIT. Here, you’ll support solving some of our clients’ biggest challenges and help us grow the business.

Selected candidate will provide on-site support at our customer facility located in Falls Church, VA.

HOW A SENIOR ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT WILL MAKE AN IMPACT:
  • Provides full scope administrative assistance to SES-level led office.
  • Prepares correspondence for senior executives including official memos, personnel packages, and end of tour submissions.
  • Manages calendars and implements proper protocol for senior executives.
  • Track tasks to completion using Correspondence and Task Management System and internal office tickler.
  • Manages Classified Information and assists in implementing security SOP and internal control execution and classified material handling as the office security manager.
  • Provides support to facilitate classified meetings including sending/receiving security clearance information.
  • Assists with Joint World Wide Intelligence Communications Systems (JWICS) account management.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED:
  • Associates of Arts/Associates of Science degree and a minimum of 8 years’ experience required.  An additional 2 years of experience may be substituted in lieu of degree.
  • Active Secret security clearance with the ability to obtain Top Secret/SCI required.
  • Experience using DTS travel system required.
  • Experience using the Correspondence and Task Management System (CATMS) required.
  • Proficiency in executive level protocols, knowledge of Office of the Secretary of Defense (OSD) correspondence procedures, and knowledge of the structure and missions of the OSD and the Components.
  • Experience with security facility administration.
  • Experience assisting with SCI facilities support and JWICS account.
  • Highly proficient with the Microsoft Office Suite of applications, especially Word, Excel and PowerPoint.

Salary and Benefit Information

The likely salary range for this position is $76,690 - $103,500. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
