Technical Surveillance Countermeasures (TSCM)

Performs advanced engineering work concerned with the design, evaluation, planning, testing and operation of electrical, electromechanical, and/or computer components, equipment and systems for commercial, government, military, and/or scientific uses.
Inspects customer sites to ensure compliance with customer identified regulations.
Performs various tests and analyzes and documents results.
Develops research & development plans.
Writes, reviews, and provides updates to technical documentation.
Adjusts and makes changes to methods, design, or equipment when necessary.
Participates in special projects as required.
Maintains current knowledge of relevant technologies.
May coach, review, and provide guidance and work leadership to less-experienced professionals on the team.
May serve as a technical team or task leader. (Not a people manager).
Performs additional duties as assigned.
Maintains customer equipment in line with manufacturer recommendations and customer direction.
Prepares assessment of current threats and trends based on the research and analysis of intelligence data.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Successful completion of the TSCM Fundamentals Course at the Interagency Training Center (ITC)
Must be able to carry and lift heavy pieces of equipment, up to 75 pounds, during travel and while evaluating SCIFs.
Ability to travel 25-50% of the time
Experience conducting site surveys and inspections to ensure compliance with ICS 705, NSSAM 1-13, and other applicable regulations.
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Experience updating and maintaining records in customer applications and databases.
Experience creating Site Survey Reports, creating messages for approval and release, and recording task closure.
Experience writing complicated reports detailing the findings of technical assessments.
Experience managing multiple projects/tasks and large workloads.
Experience conducting ad hoc testing and preparing Testing Technical reports with photos and descriptions of any anomalies, concerns, or discoveries.
10 + years of related countermeasures engineering experience.
BA/BS in a related field.
9 + years of related experience

The likely salary range for this position is $140,250 - $189,750. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
