HOW AN INFORMATION SECURITY ANALYST ADVISOR WILL MAKE AN IMPACT

  • Performs all procedures necessary to ensure the safety of information systems assets and to protect systems from intentional or inadvertent access or destruction
  • Install, configure and manage a highly available and scalable virtual infrastructure.
  • Provide planning, installing, configuring, and upgrading support for vCenter Server and VMware ESXi cluster using either version 8.x.
  • Manage and allocate virtual hardware to virtual machines including right sizing CPU and memory.
  • Develop plans for configuring, deploying, and administering virtual machines and Virtual Applications.
  • Establish and maintaining service levels; perform troubleshooting; monitor vSphere implementations and vCenter server alarms.
  • Apply/implement IAVMs, STIGs, bug fixes, security patches/controls, and access controls across multiple platforms.
  • You will be working with a team of professionals to accomplish team goals and provide customer deliverables.
  • As part of the Shares Team your contributions will assist in efforts to resolve technical challenges.
  • You will be a member of a dynamic team that always seek excellence and technical knowledge grow.
  • You will be working for solutions to technical challenges affecting units and organizations in U.S. and worldwide.


WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED:

  • Education: BA/BS or equivalent experience
  • Required Experience: 8 – 10 years of experience in information technology field
  • Qualifications/Certifications: DoD 8570.1-M certification: IAT Level III
  • Computing Environment Certification: VCP-DCV or higher
  • Required Technical Skills: Provide planning, design, development, engineering, integration, and technical and operational support to the ADCNOMS project on Virtual platform, Virtual OS, Virtual application VMware Hypervisor, Virtual storage.
  • Security Clearance Level: Secret
  • Required Skills and Abilities: Microsoft Office suite and working knowledge of Microsoft Visio
  • Preferred Skills: VMware/Broadcom Virtualization knowledge.
  • Location: Customer Site

Salary and Benefit Information

The likely salary range for this position is $93,500 - $126,500. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
