We are currently seeking a Test Engineer to join our team. In this role you will be a change agent by working on the TFM2 contract. TFM2 provides modernization and life cycle support of Information Technology infrastructure that host national implementation of the FAA's Traffic Flow Management (TFM) functionality. It also focuses on long term engineering services and the development of new functional enhancements that increase the capability of Traffic Flow Management.

HOW A SENIOR TEST ENGINEER WILL MAKE AN IMPACT:

  • Test and analyze systems development including integration, systems testing, probability testing, field test plans and customer acceptance plans to maintain the credibility/viability of the system
  • Defines, documents, analyzes, performs, and interprets developmental tests for new and/or modified products or product components
  • Document test discrepancies and author change requests as required
  • Communicating and documenting issues identified during test conduct
  • Maintains existing test processes and documentation to ensure adequate record-keeping and knowledge-sharing
  • Organize and maintain baseline regression procedures in support of operational releases
  • Investigates and resolves operational problems in conjunction with engineering and technical personnel
  • Support Test Team in developing test plans, requirements traceability ,procedures, development, execution, and reporting
  • Complete testing activities in a Java and C++ development environments
  • Formally conduct customer-witnessed testing demonstrating system requirements and functionality
  • Support Operational patch testing, includes system and adaptation changes
  • Support Aviation scenario development
  • Performs other duties as assigned

WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED:

Education:
  • Bachelor’s degree( in computer science, engineering, mathematics, or related field)    
Required Experience:
  • Ten (10) years related experience
Security Clearance Level:
  • Must be clearable for a position of Public Trust and standard background investigation check
  • US Residency Requirement
Work Location:
  • Egg Harbor Township, New Jersey
Required Skills and Abilities:
  • Experience using software testing tools such as RTC, RQM, DOORs and SQL queries                         
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills  
  • Experience working with an Agile development
  • Advanced experience in developing test plans/procedures, expected outcomes, and verification statements
  • Clear understanding and experience in the complete life cycle of software in an aviation systems environment
  • Experience in roles that required demonstration of excellent communication and writing skills
  • Understanding  performing scalability and performance testing
  • Experience using UNIX
  • Interpersonal skills to interact with customers and team members
  • Competent in the use of formal testing methodologies
  • Ability to travel when required

Salary and Benefit Information

The likely salary range for this position is $83,300 - $112,700. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
