Job Description

At GDIT, people are our differentiator. We are seeking an Executive Assistant (Program Administration Specialist) who is innovative, dedicated, and highly motivated to solve daily operational problems for our client, the Division of State and Tribal Systems (DSTS) for the federal Office of Child Support Services (OCSS). OCSS proposes and implements national policy for the child support program. DSTS provides technical support to help states and tribes develop and operate their individual programs according to federal laws and regulations. In this role, you will provide administrative support to the DSTS director and staff.
 

You will work remotely as a full-time member of the GDIT Program Support team providing direct administrative support to the DSTS director and other federal staff. Primary responsibilities include: 

  • Maintaining calendars, scheduling meetings, and preventing conflicts; communicating meeting dates, times, and locations; ensuring materials for scheduled meetings are available for the director’s advance review
  • Preparing and disseminating agendas, meeting summaries, and action items
  • Managing travel and preparing travel arrangements for the director and staff
  • Maintaining critical information in an organized way such that staff can make effective use of it and have easy access
  • Assisting with the formatting, editing, and processing of audit letters, guides, and other official correspondence
  • Filing and maintaining documents on SharePoint
  • Preparing daily materials


Required Skills:

  • 5+ years of Administrative/Executive Assistantant or related professional experience
  • Ability to obtain a Public Trust
  • Experience with Adobe Acrobat Pro
  • Experience with Microsoft Office tools, specifically Outlook, Word, SharePoint, and PowerPoint
  • Strong editorial skills: following internal and external style guidelines to review written documents with a keen eye for spelling, accuracy, language, punctuation, formatting, style, and "plain language" best practices
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously, respond effectively to ad hoc tasks, and meet critical deadlines

Salary and Benefit Information

The likely hourly rate for this position is between $33.52 - $40.25. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
