Job Description

Join General Dynamics IT and be a part of a team that solve some of the world's most complex technical challenges. Seize your opportunity to make a personal impact as a Test Engineer Lead supporting the DTRA I3TS program.

In this position, you will lead a wide range of functional testing within the agile delivery team focused on providing support of provisioning cloud-based services and an emphasis on providing high-value features to our customer.

Typical duties include:

  • Collaborate with our product team and Software developers to support and meet testing requirements.
  • Test new and existing products and Software to identify potential problems and ensure product and data quality.
  • Create, develop, and execute automated testing procedures for products and software.
  • Partner with developers to determine testing parameters and create practical test demos.
  • Troubleshoot any testing errors and streamline testing procedures.
  • Prepare reports and analysis for testing.
  • Provide database support running queries validating data quality.
  • Maintain current knowledge of technology and best practices relevant to the industry.


Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
  • 8 years of experience leading testing initiatives
  • Experience working with Agile/SCRUM, writing user stories, and following the development process through user story acceptance.
  • Security+
  • TS/SCI

Salary and Benefit Information

The likely salary range for this position is $97,063 - $131,321. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
