General Dynamics Awarded Major U.S Army Sustainment Command Logistics Contract

FAIRFAX, Va. – General Dynamics (NYSE: GD) has been awarded a contract to support the U.S. Army Sustainment Command’s Enhanced Army Global Logistics Enterprise (EAGLE) program. The multiple-award Basic Ordering Agreement has a potential value of $23 billion to all 96 awardees over five years. Work will be performed at Army installations worldwide.
Through the EAGLE contract General Dynamics will deliver maintenance, supply and transportation-operations support services to meet the Army’s global logistics service requirements. The company may provide materiel maintenance, supply and transportation services that support the redeployment and readiness of Army forces.
“With our extensive experience working with the U.S. Army to manage logistics and supply chains, General Dynamics can ensure U.S. forces worldwide have the supplies they need to carry out their missions,” said Zannie Smith, senior vice president and general manager of General Dynamics Information Technology’s National and Homeland Security division. “We understand the Army’s logistics needs and have the skills and expertise to be a true partner in this effort.”
General Dynamics delivers innovative, agile and comprehensive logistics solutions that support customers across the globe. The company provides logistics and supply chain management in support of the Department of Defense’s ground combat and Mine-Resistant Ambush Protected (MRAP) vehicles, the Army’s 1st Theater Sustainment Command in Afghanistan and Supply Support Activity in Kuwait, as well as federal civilian agencies such as the Department of State.

This contract was awarded to General Dynamics Global Force. General Dynamics Global Force is a joint venture between General Dynamics Information Technology, General Dynamics Land Systems, General Dynamics C4 Systems, General Dynamics Advanced Information Systems, General Dynamics Ordnance and Tactical Systems and General Dynamics Armament and Technical Products.
