Tom Doheny

FAIRFAXVa. – General Dynamics Information Technology, a business unit of General Dynamics (NYSE: GD), will provide contact center support for health departments, healthcare providers and more than 3,300 users of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention’s Vaccine Tracking System (VTrckS), a secure, web-based system that integrates the entire publicly funded vaccine supply chain, from purchasing and ordering through distribution.

General Dynamics will provide user support and customer service for VTrckS awardees and healthcare providers via telephone and email. The company will also assist with technical issues related to the SAP-based application from which users can order, track and manage inventory provided under the Vaccines for Children Program and other Federal and state funding sources.

The task order was awarded in November 2014 and has a potential value of $4.6 million over five years. The work for the contract will be performed in Phoenix.
