CISA plans to dive deeper on sector-specific supply chain risks under critical infrastructure memo

The Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency will promote building a nuanced understanding of supply chain risks in each critical infrastructure sector to fulfill its cross-sector coordination role, deputy director Nitin Natarajan told Inside Cybersecurity at an industry event.

“We need to understand what's nationally significant and the infrastructure that our nation is dependent upon, and we need to make sure those that are involved locally have that visibility on what's critical to them - and frankly, everything in between,” Natarajan said in an interview on the sidelines of an operational technology event on Tuesday hosted by General Dynamics Information Technology.
