For the past two summers, I’ve been honored to lead CSRA’s Internship program. I’m so excited that CSRA has been named a top tech and engineering internship program by Vault, a leading source for intern-friendly job postings, career advice, and research.

This places CSRA as the top internship program in the government services industry and #10 among all Tech and Engineering internship programs in the country—up three spots from last year, in just the second summer of our program!

Vault’s annual internship rankings were based on a survey of more than 12,000 interns covering 15 different ranking categories. Seventy-five percent of CSRA’s interns took the survey this year, commenting on their internship experiences according to a variety of factors, including the application process, compensation and perks, meaningfulness of assignments and training, and full-time employment prospects.

CSRA’s 10-week summer program allows our interns to gain hands-on experience in the field of their interest by being an active contributor. Interns also engage in our mentorship program and speaker series, volunteering activities, and other fun events. We keep our interns busy! We even challenged our leadership to join in on the fun; this past summer, they competed with interns from across CSRA in a Fitbit contest to see who gets the most steps in each week. I’d like to give a shout out to our CEO and Vice Presidents for supporting the program and getting involved.

CSRA President and CEO Larry Prior is a huge advocate for our internship program and he makes several appearances throughout the summer to meet with interns and get involved in our events. This year, he personally mentored several interns to help them refine their resume. We are blessed with leadership that supports the growth of our program and sincerely wishes to see each of our interns succeed in their careers.
