CSRA Continues 50-Year Partnership with DISA;

Recently-Acquired Subsidiary NES Associates Also Awarded Contract

FALLS CHURCH, VA – The U.S. Department of Defense’s (DoD) Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA) has awarded a contract to 20 companies, including CSRA LLC and NES Associates LLC, subsidiaries of CSRA Inc. (NYSE:CSRA). The contract, known as ENCORE III, directs CSRA and its subsidiaries to provide global information technology (IT) services in support of the military services, the DoD, and other federal agencies.

The multiple award, Indefinite-Delivery/Indefinite-Quantity (IDIQ) contract holds a current ceiling of $17.5 billion. CSRA will provide services under Fixed Price (FP) and Cost-Reimbursement task orders. It contains a five-year base period followed by five one-year option periods for a total of 10 years.

“CSRA, along with our NES teammates, will provide next-generation technology and robust support to DISA’s critical missions,” said Executive Vice President Ken Deutsch, head of CSRA’s Defense Group. “We are honored to continue CSRA’s 50-year partnership with DISA and support their important role in America’s defense.”

Through the ENCORE III contract, CSRA will support DISA and provide IT solutions for activities throughout all organizations and operating levels. This work will also support DISA’s functional requirements, including Command and Control (C2), intelligence, and mission support areas, as well as all elements of the Joint Information Environment (JIE).

Individual task orders under this contract will be used across 19 performance areas, which form the basis of providing DISA’s IT solutions. These solutions include development, installation, fielding, training, and both operation and life-cycle management of components and systems. This will be performed within the following operational environments:

  • Combatant commands and their subordinate components
  • Military services
  • Defense agencies
  • Office of the Secretary of Defense (OSD)
  • Other federal agencies

The ENCORE III contract comes on the heels of other DISA contracts recently awarded to CSRA. In June, CSRA was awarded a major $498 million contract to support milCloud® 2.0 Phase 1. In November, CSRA won a $163 million task order to support DISA’s Endpoint Security Solution (ESS) Integrator Support effort under the General Services Administration’s (GSA) Alliant Government-wide Acquisition Contract (GWAC).
