$139 Million-Ceiling Blanket Purchase Agreement for Next-Gen IT Engineering Expands CSRA’s Support for HHS

FALLS CHURCH, VACSRA Inc. (NYSE:CSRA) will be providing next-generation IT engineering services for the Office of IT Infrastructure and Operations (ITIO) at the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS). The eight-year, potential $139 million Next Generation IT Services (NGITS) engineering blanket purchase agreement (BPA) follows an earlier $207 million BPA, which was awarded in January to CSRA. This new BPA includes a five-year base and three one-year options. SRA International Inc., a subsidiary of CSRA Inc., was one of several companies awarded this contract.

“We are excited to continue our work with HHS and broaden CSRA’s portfolio of next-gen solutions, which now includes direct engineering services for the department’s headquarters’ IT infrastructure,” said Vice President Kamal Narang, head of CSRA’s Health Group. “We look forward to working with HHS in this additional role and supporting their critical mission of enhancing the health and well-being of all Americans.”

With this award, CSRA now operates two avenues to continue its long-standing HHS support. CSRA will have the opportunity to compete for task orders designed to provide IT infrastructure engineering across HHS Operating Divisions (OpDivs) and Staff Divisions (StaffDivs) in support of their individual missions.

Under this BPA, the following services will be provided by CSRA to ITIO:

  • End-point Engineering
  • Infrastructure Engineering
  • Email Engineering
  • Unified Communications and Collaboration Engineering
  • Enterprise Mobile Management Engineering
  • Print Server Engineering
  • Facilities Engineering
