Use the resources on this page to get started on your journey by completing two important steps: (1) Registering for GDIT ENGAGE Orientation and (2) Completing your I-9 Employment Eligibility Verification Form.

Your Onboarding Steps for Success

Step One

Register to Attend a GDIT ENGAGE Orientation Session

We’re excited to have you as one of our everyday heroes serving the critical missions of our clients. We know there is a lot to learn when you start at a new organization and to help you get started, you’ll engage in a one-hour orientation sessions. We offer two sessions every Monday (Tuesday if Monday is a holiday). You’ll receive an invitation to orientation the week before you start. Work with your manager to determine which session to attend and where to attend. New hires within the DC Metro area should plan to attend orientation at our Corporate Headquarters at 3150 Fairview Park, Falls Church, VA. New hires in the Intelligence & Homeland Security division in the DC Metro area should plan to attend orientation at our McLearen Rd. location, 13857 McLearen Road, Herndon, VA.

Step Two

Complete Your I-9 Form / Employment Eligibility Verification

An I-9 Form must be completed by both you and your manager and/or GDIT designee within the first three business days of your start date to ensure compliance with US employment laws. Complete the following action items on or before your start date:

Locate the email invitation to complete your I-9. It was sent to your personal email.
Complete and submit section 1 of the form.
Remote employees will follow the instructions online to set up an appointment at an approved remote site to complete Section 2, bring appropriate documentation to your appointment.
Hybrid and in-person employees will complete Section 2 with their manager during their first three days of employment, bring appropriate documentation with you on your first day.
